BOWBONISH BRAND STORY
One trait that cuts across my professional and personal life is the desire and ability to find solutions to people’s problems. Whether it be canvassing friends and acquaintances to help the next fellow in need or connecting a client with a contact that will sort out their supply chain issues; whatever the problem is, I do not rest until I have found a solution.
Often the solution I can offer is unconventional (because many times, the problem owner has tried out all the conventional options). At other times, the solution does not come directly from me but from my network of friends, business associates, clients and just the many people I have met on my journey. In some other cases, the solutions I can proffer just require a little resourcefulness, some DIY, mixed with creative and critical thinking and sprinkled with some dose of common sense and simplicity.
Professionally, even though my career has mostly been within the advertising and media space, I cannot be defined as just an Ad girl or a Media Planner or Buyer. My innate nature and skills over the years have evolved to being a Problem Solver. My jurisdiction, professionally speaking, still largely remains within the Marketing and Communications Industry (even though I tend to go outside this scope from time to time). You can call me the Marketing and Communications Fixer if you like!
The Bowbonish idea was inspired by my need to provide solutions within the Marketing and Communications space. Our name is coined from a local dialect that captures the multiple skills and talents that enable me to provide solutions across a wide range of Marketing and Communications challenges. It encapsulates the heart and values of a convergent thinker:
